Our March Club BBQ was a great success.  Here are some pics of many of the locals who made it out to the event.

The weather was clear, riding conditions spectacular.  The club raises money for grooming through these BBQ events.  Usually a poker run is held and the food is sold by donation.  Thanks to Pemberton Valley Supermarket for the food donation.  We went through 5 or 6 baron of beefs that day!

The great day was marred by an incident on the glacier where an unlucky rider fell into a crevasse.  He dropped over 90 feet, but was only slightly hurt in the fall.  The Pemberton Valley Snowmobile Club came to the rescue, as we usually do, and pulled the lucky sledder out of the hole.  His sled wasn't so lucky.

One of the favorite spots of the day was the ice cave.  It was found earlier this season in a valley seldom visited by snowmobilers.  It became visible because of the low snow pack we had this season.  It truly is an awesome sight.
